2018.05.13 Tips: Cookies, Shortbread Sugar Icing


1. chickpea brine (aquafaba) -
the water fram a can of checkpeas creates a meringue-like consestency for the iceing

2. color -
place icing into separate bowles, and stir a few drops of natural vegan food coloring into each bowl. Alternate, use natural colorants such as spirulina, turmeric,or paprika, adding just a pinch to each bowl.

3. pipe it -
make your cookies extra special by using a piping bag to frost.

4. sprinkles -
best if applied immediately before frosting hardens.
